Twenty one general purpose classrooms in Carlson School of Management received updates during summer 2008 and 2009, in conjunction with a larger building renovation.

Improvements to the rooms included updated carpet, and the replacement of the front walls and soffits of the classrooms. The new front walls include fixed markerboards and larger projection screens, as well as improved lighting for the instructor area of each room.

Additionally, dual projection capability and a new lighting system was added to room L-110, and projection was installed in 1-122. All classrooms received updated technology packages and new height-adjustable instructor stations.

Lighting improvements were made to twenty of the classrooms and was completed during fall 2009. The project was split into two major phases to minimize impact on students, faculty, and courses.

All work was completed by November 2009.
