The Office of Classroom Management (OCM) is committed to providing instructional technology in general purpose classrooms. Less than half of the classrooms (152 of 340) include the ability for faculty to use Zoom meetings to transmit live, or record, their presentation slides and their voice (e.g. “voice-over PowerPoint”).
On June 19, 2020, the University funded an equipment upgrade for more than 100 rooms to enable better instructor audio for Zoom meetings. OCM is procuring equipment and will install an audio/video bar on the instructor pedestal. Visit the Class Capture instructions page for more information on how to connect the USB to your laptop.
