Project description
The Study Space Art Inclusivity Project aims to update and diversify the artwork displayed in general purpose study areas across campus.
Currently, these spaces feature archived photos, which, while historically significant, predominantly reflect a less diverse campus community. As many of these images feature people—primarily white men—this limits the representation of our more diverse student, faculty, and staff population today.
The goal of this project is to refresh the artwork, focusing on inclusivity and ensuring the spaces better reflect the diversity of our current community. By doing so, we hope to create a more welcoming and representative environment for all.
