Classroom hours

General purpose classrooms are open (unlocked) during standard hours of operation. Building hours may vary from the standard classroom hours; be sure to carry your U Card with you at all times. View building hours in the campus maps.

The University is not open on Sundays or on University holidays.

Classroom hours of operation
  • Monday - Friday: 7:00 am - 10:00 pm
  • Saturday: Closed (see exceptions in next tab)
  • Sunday: Closed
  • University Holiday: Closed
Saturday hours

On Saturday 7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., classrooms in the following buildings are open:

  • Blegen Hall
  • Bruininks Hall
  • Carlson School of Management
  • Folwell Hall
  • Hanson Hall
  • Humphrey Center
  • Keller Hall
  • McNeal Hall
  • Peters Hall
  • Rapson Hall
  • Ruttan Hall

Outside of the hours listed above, and anytime in other buildings, general purpose classrooms are available on an exception/approval basis only. Note that exceptions are very rare as OCM is not resourced for usage outside of standard operating hours.

Lost and found

The University does not have a centralized lost and found. However, you can contact Facilities Management (FM) at 612-624-2900 to see if a custodian has returned your item to the FM office. The following campus buildings have their own lost and found locations. If none of the buildings below apply, try calling the departmental office where you lost the item.
