25Live is used to reserve and assign general purpose classrooms (GPCs) and departmental classroom space for classes and events throughout the University of Minnesota campus system. GPCs are solely assigned and managed by the Office of Classroom Mgmt. Departmental rooms are assigned and managed by the departments who own the room.

Access to request a room for an event or activity
Everyone with an active University Internet ID and password has automatic access to 25Live to request a room for an event or activity that is not an academic class. No special training or Access Request Form (ARF) is needed to request a room for an event.
Access for departmental room schedulers
Departmental room schedulers who schedule departmentally-managed spaces have an access role within 25Live that allows them to:
- Assign or remove a departmentally owned classroom to an academic class
- Schedule an event (meetings or other activities) in an departmentally owned room
- Receive and make decisions on requests to use their space for events/meetings
A 25Live Access Request Form (ARF), must be completed to gain access to manage events and activities and/or assign academic classes in departmentally managed spaces. There is one access role that covers both academic class and non-academic event functions, though not all users with this role will be responsible for both.
Before completing the 25Live ARF, you must complete the required training.
