The Office of Classroom Management is committed to providing high-quality, reliable instructional technology in General-Purpose Classrooms (GPCs). Scheduled classroom equipment updates improve technology in our spaces and prevent disruptions caused by aging equipment.
The technology in each classroom listed below has been reviewed so that necessary upgrades can be made to address system deficiencies and increase reliability. We continue to add height-adjustable desks as our standard instructor station, updating projectors, microphones, cameras, and projection screens where needed. All upgrades will maintain our current laptop connection standard of USB-C and HDMI for sharing content. For many rooms, we are expanding on the functionality of the USB-C laptop connections in many rooms to provide device power and connections to microphones and cameras in the room*.
Notes:
- We will be removing Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapters previously provided for older devices that are no longer supported.
- *For those still using HDMI to connect, the companion USB-A connection will also be maintained to connect to microphones and cameras in the room.
